By Amen! Not I but by the grace of God. Truly it’s God’s grace that I was able to join the churching and conference in Taiwan. I am not supposed to join the trip anymore when I found out that only me is joining the blending and tour before conference, the rest of the saints were joining after the conference. The arrangement for me was before conference because my husband found a cheaper air ticket to go there that was February 6. After I cancelled it, I don’t have a good sleep thinking my ticket that is going to be wasted and I don’t feel the presence of the Lord. One night with much conversation with the Lord, I said, Amen Lord this is Your arrangement for me I will go…come what may… I trust everything to You Lord! And… Praise the Lord I really enjoyed all the aspects of this trip, the blending and tour and the conference .🙂
During the blending and tour, what I have enjoyed the most is the fellowship with the saints and their testimonies . Our group were visiting the province of Yunlin. Three churches we had fellowship; the church in Duolio, the Church in Dounan and the church in Xiluo. Church in Dounan was a fruit of the church in Xiluo. Some saints migrated their from the church in Xiluo and the Lord bless the work of their hands and able to have the Lord’s testimony there. This church in Dounan is now already 12 yrs. One testimony I enjoyed the most is concerning the companionship of the Brother who is a teacher and His companion a grade 6 level young brother in preaching the gospel at the school. The young brother was bold and didn’t get shy to approach the students. He said that, as they were preaching, some were open and others were not, but its ok, what’s important is the sons of peace. Truly the Lord is able to use us regardless of our ages as long as we already received the Lord. Amen! But time came that they were weaken and eventually their gospel preaching in school was stop. But praise the Lord for the new one that the Lord gain through them who was just 1 month old in the church life! The Lord use this new one to encourage them and not to stop to preach the gospel in school. Wow! Truly, it’s our salvation to have a fruit because the Lord might use them one day to remind us, strengthen us and encourage us to go on with the Lord and to go on in our service. Amen.
I also enjoyed our visiting the gospel contact of the saint who is a kindergarten teacher to a mother of her student, then after, we shared gospel tracts outside the grocery store. I was also thinking why not we apply this also in the Philippines. Just like the testimony of the grandmother of brother Minuro Chen, whenever she went out, she always bring her bag and the only thing inside was lots of gospel tracks to share to people whoever God sovereignly given to her to meet. Her heart is for the people to receive God’s salvation and God’s life. That’s why it’s really encouraged me to buy gospel tracks to share and I must see to it that I also must have some gospel tracks in my bag when I will go out.
I also enjoyed the hospitality of the saints. They were joyfully and gladly serving us just like the elderly couple who accomodating us in their house in Xiluo. They were at their 70’s but still they were strong because they love the Lord. Though they were old but young, fresh, living and active in the Lord. I prayed that the Lord will make us also with my husband Uge to be like this couple when in our elderly days if still the Lord not yet come back 🙂During our stays in their house with these dearly couple, Me and other two sisters, sister Ivy Marsha and sister Elena Sy who were also from Philippines from church in Manila, just actually we just also known each other through this trip, we were enjoying our morning fellowship with these dearly couple starting with hymn singing. Both of them love to sing hymns. It reminds me how I need to learn more of the hymns.🙂
During conference, what I have enjoyed is that Our christian life is threefold; it involves fighting the good fight, running and finishing the course, and keeping the faith. I enjoyed that to fight the good fight is to lay hold on this divine life that we received and not to trust in our human life…This enjoyment reminded me when we were lost in Taiwan. On the one hand it is God’s speaking to us , His exposing us, but on the other hand was also a blessing to us. We enjoyed the life ministering service of the two brothers; brother Roberto Sun and brother Holy in Hall 4 in fetching us outside Nangang exhibition center. We see God’s love manifested in them in caring God’s people. Truly love is the prerequisite of obedience. They obey God’s demand to fetch us, even I told brother Robert that we will be the one to go there just telling us where they are. But still they chose to fetch us and knowingly just recently according to sister Nikki Sun my co- locality serving sister and a sister wife of brother Roberto Sun, that brother Holy just a month ago still in his well chair due to still in his medication from surgery. Oh Lord! Thank You for this brother Lord! Continue to preserve and sanctify brother Holy Lord and with his whole family for Your church. Oh love is the most excellent way to be anything and to do anything for the building up of the Body.
And last one, my phone was lost too within 24hrs. Within this 24hrs, I had lots of conversation with the Lord. I received His judgement and I also judge myself under His light. Truly, the more we are humble and accepting our mistakes confessing our short coming before the Lord, what was lost to us will also be brought back to us. Even there’s even more added to us. The two serving sisters; sister Nikki and sister Vanessa were so Christly-kind to me and taking care of me. They gave me some stuff to bring home and willingly brought me to the police station to get my hand phone because someone found it and handed it there Praise You Lord! And by next early morning, they were also paid the price to accompany me to the airport to make sure I’m safely reach there on time. Thank You for this two sister Lord! Sister Nikki and sister Vanessa of hall 4 continue to bless them Lord for Your economy. Praise You Lord for all the experiences and shepherding through out this trip.
